ABRAHAM, SARAH, ABIMELECH…And the Promised Son
ABRAHAM, SARAH, ABIMELECH…And the Promised Son

ABRAHAM, SARAH, ABIMELECH…
And the Promised Son
This past Shabbat, He already began showing what He wanted prayed for ‘Raise the Shield of David’ this week, so know that this ‘Word… Sword’ is important and He is wielding it! Let us agree with Him!
Before we go into the Tehillim/Psalm to pray, let me share an insight He gave me this past Preparation Day in prayer. While praying Tehillim/Psalm 105, He began to speak of how Israel the nation, the Yehudim, the Jewish people, have been taught to love life and to try to be a light to the nations. We have seen this in actuality in the rescue and relief teams coming into Haiti.
While we were praying for Israel to ‘remember’, He began to speak of them ‘remembering’ the covenant He has with them. He then said to pray that they would remember that if they were to relent to the nations’ pressure… particularly America’s pressure… to divide their land, that this would bode ill and disastrous for this nation, America.
He asked us to pray that they would remember when Abraham gave Sarah to Abimelech, it did not go badly for Abraham because of His covenant… but it did indeed go very bad for Abimelech.
Read the following Scriptures with this insight and leading by His Spirit:
Abraham = the people of Israel
Sarah = the land of Israel
Yitzak/Isaac = the Promised Son coming
Abimelech = America or other nations
Bereshith/Genesis 20:3-7
“But Elohim came to Abimeleḵ in a dream by night, and said to him, ‘See, you are a dead man because of the woman whom you have taken, for she is a man’s wife.’
However, Abimeleḵ had not come near her, and he said, ‘ יהוה, would You slay a righteous nation also? Did he not say to me, ‘She is my sister’? And she, even she herself said, ‘He is my brother.’ In the integrity of my heart and in the innocence of my hands I have done this.’
And Elohim said to him in a dream, ‘Yea, I know that you did this in the integrity of your heart, and so I kept you from sinning against Me. For this reason I did not let you touch her.
And now, return the man’s wife, for he is a prophet, and let him pray for you and you live. But if you do not return her, know that you shall certainly die, you and all that are yours.’”
As Abraham tried to ‘give away Sarah’, so Israel trying to give away the land will only result in destruction for ‘Abimelech’… for the U.S. and other nations.
So let us pray that Israel will remember Him and His covenant and know that He will do what needs to be done. So if they are to ‘help repair the world’, they need to remember His covenant and their father Abraham, and not give ‘Sarah’ to ‘Abimelech’, but bless the nations by remembering Him, His word, His covenant, stand strong and not give away who they have been married to… Eretz Yisrael… the land of Yisrael.
Yeshayahu/Isaiah 62:4-5
“No longer are you called ‘Forsaken,’ and no longer is your land called ‘Deserted.’ But you shall be called ‘Hephtsibah,’ and your land ‘Married,’ forיהוה shall delight in you, and your land be married.
For as a young man marries a maiden, so shall your sons marry you. And as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, so shall your Elohim rejoice over you.”
And pray that in His mercy, He will speak to this nation’s leaders in dreams letting them know that if they ‘touch Sarah’… they are ‘dead men’, because of the covenant.

Remember, this scenario with Abimelech (Bereshith/Genesis 20) came after He had promised Abraham and Sarah that the Promised Son was coming! (Bereshith/Genesis 18).
He Himself had come to Abraham’s tent and spoken of the coming ‘Promised Son’, Isaac who is a type of Messiah. This was a prophetic picture of The Son Who is coming… coming to the land of Israel… coming to ‘Sarah’.
This is why He was so ardent in fulfilling what He had spoken and why Abimelech was in such a serious place of judgment… the promised son was coming.
How much more now?!
The PROMISED SON is coming! This word has already been spoken, and every covenant given has come forth for this very reason!
How much more is AMERICA in a serious place of judgment as ‘Sarah/the Land of Israel’ awaits the coming promised Son, even as a ‘womb’ that cannot and should not be divided… no abortion. Do not touch! Do not become a ‘dead man walking’.
He does not want to judge a ‘righteous nation’, even as Abimelech’s intercession for himself and those in his nation. But if Abimelech had continued to try to ‘touch Sarah’, the judgment would have fallen.
Let us pray that this nation’s leaders will hear and repent…
HANDS OFF SARAH!
HANDS OFF THE LAND OF ISRAEL!
NO TWO
STATE
SOLUTION
For His Name’s sake…
For the Promised Son’s return…
For Israel…
For America…
Let us ‘Sh’ma’… hear… this word and instruction… and pray.

TEHILLIM/PSALM 78
As I was seeking Him as to what Tehillim/Psalm to pray this Preparation Day, immediately He said ‘78’… Tehillim/Psalm 78.
This Psalm begins:
“My people, give ear to My Torah.”
Tehillim/Psalm 78:1
What should His people ‘give ear’ to? His Torah, His word, His instruction, His teachings, His covenants…
This Tehillim/Psalm speaks of His judgment coming upon disobedience, even referring to the cutting off of Ephrayim, the House of Yoseph. He is saying ‘Sh’ma Israel’, and it is a warning as well as an admonition and exhortation.
Warn: 1. to put on guard; to caution. 2. To notify, esp. in advance; to inform. 3. To order to go or keep away; as, to warn trespassers off the grounds.
Admonish: 1. To reprove mildly or kindly, but seriously. 2. To counsel against something’ caution; warn. 3. To point out something forgotten or disregarded, by means of a warning, reproof, or exhortation.
Exhort: 1. To urge or incite by strong argument, advice, or appeal; admonish earnestly. To make urgent appeal.
As we know He had a plan to bring back the once cut off and divorced House of Yoseph, Ephrayim. He is merciful and compassionate… but also righteous and just.
Even as He has had us praying for Israel to remember, He is now also going to have us pray for Israel to hear… ‘to give ear’. ‘Sh’ma Yisrael’.
Let me make mention that when He told me to start praying Tehillim/Psalm 105, I did not know then that the Torah portion we would be studying those weeks were the Exodus. But He knew and inside Psalm 105 is that very thing… ‘Exodus’. This Psalm was in perfect alignment with the portion that week… in perfect alignment with what the House of Yehudah, the Jewish people all over the earth, would be reading that week.
Now He is bringing us Psalm ‘78’, that is in perfect alignment with the next portion of Torah and Him leading Israel through the Sea and into the wilderness. He knows that as we, His people, are praying for Israel, that their hearts will be opened to this as they are laying their eyes on these very events in the Torah they are studying! May deep insights by His Spirit come to them, even as we are praying, led by His Spirit.
Let us take heart in this and know that when He instructs us what word to pray and it fits so perfectly, that we can know that He will truly move upon that word!
It is not unlike His Ruach (Breath) HaKodesh hovering over the water and He said (Breathed), ‘Let there be Light… and Light came’…
He is hovering over the water and speaking (Breathing) once again and the Light of His word is piercing the darkness…
Remember, He hovered over the waters waiting for the Eretz… Land… to appear. The land… the Eretz of Yisrael… has re-emerged from the waters of the nations and He will have His seed planted in that land. The land of Israel has re-emerged from the sea of nations, and He is bringing back the ‘seed of Abraham’, for seed must be planted.
Gen 1:9 And Elohim said, “Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear.” And it came to be so.
Gen 1:10 And Elohim called the dry land ‘earth,’ and the collection of the waters He called ‘seas.’ And Elohim saw that it was good.
Gen 1:11 And Elohim said, “Let the earth bring forth grass, the plant that yields seed, and the fruit tree that yields fruit according to its kind, whose seed is in itself, on the earth.” And it came to be so.
Gen 1:12 And the earth brought forth grass, the plant that yields seed according to its kind, and the tree that yields fruit, whose seed is in itself according to its kind. And Elohim saw that it was good.
Gen 1:13 And there came to be evening and there came to be morning, the third day.
Remember, He hovered over the waters of Miriam’s womb and His Living Word came housed in the tabernacle of flesh.
Luk 1:31 “And see, you shall conceive in your womb, and shall give birth to a Son, and call His Name יהושע.
Luk 1:32 “He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Most High. And יהוה Elohim shall give Him the throne of His father Dawiḏ.
Luk 1:33 “And He shall reign over the house of Yaʽaqoḇ forever, and there shall be no end to His reign.”
Luk 1:34 And Miryam said to the messenger, “How shall this be, since I do not know a man?”
Luk 1:35 And the messenger answering, said to her, “The Set-apart Spirit shall come upon you, and the power of the Most High shall overshadow you. And for that reason the Set-apart One born of you shall be called: Son of Elohim.
Luk 1:36 “And see, Elisheḇa your relative, she has also conceived a son in her old age. And this is now the sixth month to her who was called barren,
Luk 1:37 because with Elohim no matter shall be impossible.”
Luk 1:38 And Miryam said, “See the female servant of יהוה! Let it be to me according to your word.” And the messenger went away from her.
The Seed emerged, through Whom all things would be accomplished…
Gal 3:16 But the promises were spoken to Abraham, and to his Seed. He does not say, “And to seeds,” as of many, but as of one, “And to your Seed,” who is Messiah.
Luk 8:11 “And this is the parable: The seed is the word of Elohim.”
The great mystery of the ages:
THE MESSIAH PROJECT
All that was… and is… and is to come… comes through Him… His Living Word.
WAS
Joh 1:1 In the beginning (Genesis) was the Word, and the Word was with Elohim, and the Word was Elohim.
Joh 1:2 He was in the beginning with Elohim.
Joh 1:3 All came to be through Him, and without Him not even one came to be that came to be.
IS
Deu 30:14 “For the Word is very near you, in your mouth and in your heart – to do it.
Rom 10:8 But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” – that is, the word of belief…
IS TO COME
Rev 19:11 And I saw the heaven opened, and there was a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Trustworthy and True, and in righteousness He judges and fights.
Rev 19:12 And His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns, having a Name that had been written, which no one had perceived except Himself --
Rev 19:13 and having been dressed in a robe dipped in blood – and His Name is called: The Word of יהוה.”

TEHILLIM/PSALM 78
Psa 78:1 My people, give ear to my Torah (teaching, words, witness, commands, covenant), Incline your ears to the words of my mouth.
Psa 78:2 I open my mouth in a parable; I utter riddles of old, (He Who spoke parables… even of the seed being sown!)
Psa 78:3 Which we have heard and known, For our fathers have related them to us.
Psa 78:4 We do not hide them from their children, Relating to the generation to come the praises of יהוה, And His strength and His wonders which He has done.
Psa 78:5 For He raised a witness in Yaʽaqoḇ, And set a Torah in Yisra’ĕl, Which He commanded our fathers, To teach them to their children;
Psa 78:6 That it might be known to a generation to come, To children who would be born, To rise up and relate them to their children,
Psa 78:7 And place their trust in Elohim, And not forget the works of Ěl, But watch over His commands,
Psa 78:8 And not be like their fathers, A stubborn and rebellious generation, A generation which did not prepare its heart, Whose spirit was not steadfast to Ěl.
Psa 78:9 The children of Ephrayim, armed bowmen, Turned back in the day of battle. (May this never be again!)
Psa 78:10 They did not guard the covenant of Elohim, And they refused to walk in His Torah,
Psa 78:11 And they forgot His deeds And His wonders which He had shown them.
Psa 78:12 He did wonders in the sight of their fathers, In the land of Mitsrayim, in the field of Tsoʽan.
Psa 78:13 He split the sea and caused them to pass through, And He made the waters stand up like a heap,
Psa 78:14 And led them with the cloud by day, And all the night with a light of fire.
Psa 78:15 He split the rock in the wilderness, And made them drink, as from the great depths, (And that Rock was Messiah)
Psa 78:16 And brought forth streams from the rock, And caused waters to come down as rivers.
Psa 78:17 Yet they sinned still more against Him To rebel against the Most High in the desert.
Psa 78:18 And they tried Ěl in their heart By asking food according to their desire.
Psa 78:19 And they spoke against Elohim. They said, “Is Ěl able to set a table in the wilderness? (He sets a table before us, in the presence of our enemies!)
Psa 78:20 “Look, He struck the rock, So that the waters gushed out, (Give ear! Rememer!) And the streams overflowed. Is He able to give bread also? Would He provide meat for His people?”
Psa 78:21 Therefore יהוה heard, and He was wroth; So a fire was kindled against Yaʽaqoḇ, And displeasure also came up against Yisra’ĕl,
Psa 78:22 Because they did not believe in Elohim, Neither did they trust in His deliverance.
Psa 78:23 Yet He had commanded the clouds above, And opened the doors of the heavens,
Psa 78:24 And He rained down manna on them to eat, And He gave them the grain of the heavens.
Psa 78:25 Men ate bread of the mighty; He sent them provisions to satisfaction. (The Living Bread of heaven)
Psa 78:26 He made an east wind blow in the heavens; And by His power He brought in the south wind.
Psa 78:27 And He rained meat on them like the dust, And winged birds like the sand of the seas,
Psa 78:28 And let them fall in the midst of His camp, All around His Dwelling Place.
Psa 78:29 So they ate and were completely satisfied, For He brought them what they desired.
Psa 78:30 They had not turned away from their desire, Their food was still in their mouths,
Psa 78:31 When the wrath of Elohim came against them, And He slew among their fat ones, And He struck down the choice ones of Yisra’ĕl.
Psa 78:32 In spite of all this they still sinned, And did not believe in His wonders.
Psa 78:33 So He ended their days in a breath, And their years in trouble.
Psa 78:34 When He slew them, then they sought Him, And they returned and did earnestly seek Ěl.
Psa 78:35 And they remembered that Elohim was their rock, And the Most High Ěl their redeemer. (The Rock, The Redeemer Lives)
Psa 78:36 But they flattered Him with their mouth, And they lied to Him with their tongue,
Psa 78:37 For their heart was not steadfast with Him, And they were not true to His covenant.
Psa 78:38 But He, the Compassionate One, Pardoned crookedness, And did not destroy them. And many a time He turned His displeasure away, And did not stir up all His wrath.
Psa 78:39 For He remembered that they were but flesh, A passing breath that does not return.
Psa 78:40 How often they rebelled against Him in the wilderness, And grieved Him in the desert!
Psa 78:41 And again and again they tried Ěl, And provoked the Set-apart One of Yisra’ĕl.
Psa 78:42 They did not remember His hand, The day when He redeemed them from the adversary,
Psa 78:43 How He worked His signs in Mitsrayim, And His wonders in the field of Tsoʽan.
Psa 78:44 He turned their rivers into blood, And they could not drink their streams.
Psa 78:45 He sent among them swarms of flies which devoured them, And frogs which destroyed them,
Psa 78:46 And gave their crops to the caterpillar, And their labour to the locust.
Psa 78:47 He destroyed their vines with hail, And their sycamore trees with frost,
Psa 78:48 And gave their beasts over to the hail, And their livestock to bolts of fire.
Psa 78:49 He sent on them the burning of His displeasure, Wrath, and rage, and distress, A deputation of messengers of evils.
Psa 78:50 He made a path for His displeasure; He did not spare their being from death, But gave their life over to the plague.
Psa 78:51 And He smote all the first-born in Mitsrayim, The first-fruits of strength in the tents of Ḥam,
Psa 78:52 Then made His own people go forth like sheep, And led them in the wilderness like a flock. (The Good Shepherd)
Psa 78:53 And He led them on safely, And they did not fear, But the sea covered their enemies.
Psa 78:54 And He brought them to the border of His set-apart place, This mountain which His right hand had gained,
Psa 78:55 And drove out nations before them, And allotted them a measured inheritance, And made the tribes of Yisra’ĕl dwell in their tents.
Psa 78:56 Yet they tried and rebelled Against the Most High Elohim, And did not guard His witnesses,
Psa 78:57 But they turned back And acted treacherously like their fathers; They twisted like a treacherous bow.
Psa 78:58 For they enraged Him with their high places, And moved Him to jealousy with their carved images. (No more! No more, we pray!)
Psa 78:59 When Elohim heard this, He was wroth, And greatly despised Yisra’ĕl,
Psa 78:60 And He left the Dwelling Place of Shiloh, The Tent which He had set up among men. (He is restoring the Tabernacle of David!)
Psa 78:61 And He gave His strength1 into captivity, And His comeliness1 into the hand of the adversary. Footnote: 1“Strength” and “comeliness” are used as symbolic names for His Ark. See also Ps. 63:2, Ps. 132:8, and 2 Chr. 6:41. (May the Ark of His presence return! For war is at hand!)
Psa 78:62 And He gave His people over to the sword, And He was wroth with His inheritance.
Psa 78:63 His young men were consumed by fire, And His maidens were not praised.
Psa 78:64 His priests fell by the sword, And their widows could not weep.
Psa 78:65 Then יהוה awoke as one asleep, As a mighty man who shouts because of wine.
Psa 78:66 And He smote His adversaries backward, He put them to an everlasting reproach. (Hear His word o nations!)
Psa 78:67 Then He rejected the tent of Yosĕph, And did not choose the tribe of Ephrayim, (In His mercy He restored! His covenant came, His life was given, the resurrection happened! The ‘Husband’ gave His life that the adulterous wife could return!)
Psa 78:68 But chose the tribe of Yehudah, Mount Tsiyon, which He loved. (Sh’ma Yehudah! Even as King David wanted to cross back over the Jordan after Abshalom was defeated, but YEHUDAH was the last tribe to come to him. He sent word ‘you are my bone and my flesh’! Why are you the last to bring me back to my House?! 2 Samuel 19:11-12 May His Jewish brothers come to welcome Him! He is readying to CROSS OVER! Readying to come to His whole House! He loves you so… ‘bone of His bone… flesh of His flesh’.)
Psa 78:69 And He built His set-apart place like the heights, Like the earth He founded it forever. (He is readying to come and build! And He will make Yerushalayim a praise in all the earth… and He Himself will bring her SPLENDOR AND GLORY!)
Psa 78:70 And He chose Dawiḏ His servant, And took him from the sheepfolds; (He is the Root and the Offspring, and He will also raise up David! Ezek. 37:24-25)
Psa 78:71 He brought him in from tending the ewes, To shepherd Yaʽaqoḇ His people, And Yisra’ĕl His inheritance. (He is the Good Shepherd of all Yisrael… He has been finding His two flocks and He will join them in His hand! John 10:11-18, Ezekiel 37:19)
Psa 78:72 And he shepherded them According to the integrity of his heart, And led them by the skill of his hands. (The type of the great Good Shepherd, Son of David… He will rule on David’s throne… over the reunited house of Yacov… forever… Luke 1:32-33… Sh’ma… give ear O Yisrael)

THIS WEEK: PRAY TEHILLIM/PSALM 78

Raise the SHIELD OF DAVID…praying the PSALMS over ERETZ YISRAEL!
Please consider joining the prayer battle for Yisrael by raising what He calls, The Shield of David, in the Name of Him Who is the Root and the Offspring of David, Yeshua. We have seen great victories as plan after plan to bring destruction to Yisrael has been thwarted by Him.
Each week, He shows us a Psalm to pray over the land of Yisrael, in the name of Yeshua. As we do so, He has shown that as we pray the Psalm in faith and in His name, He is moving to protect the land. This needs to happen as we, His people, move into position as His watchmen according to Jeremiah 31:6. Why?
Because as He explained, Eretz Yisrael is His ‘womb’ in which He is bringing all the parts of Am Yisrael, the people of Yisrael, together… to receive the outpouring of His Spirit. There, in the land, His people are being wonderfully made by Him as His Aliyah brings all the parts of His people together in preparation to receive His outpouring… being prepared to receive the outpouring of His Spirit… His Breath. What is the first thing that a baby does when it is born? Breathe! ‘Prophesy to the breath!’
It is clear that the nation of Israel is not what she is to be. This is simply a seed of what is coming... when He fills His land with His people and fills His people with His Spirit. A baby starts as a seed… and He is knitting together all the parts in the womb of Eretz Yisrael. But now He is testing our hearts to see if we will line up with Him in the purposes of His heart.

We pray each week on Preparation Day, Fri., starting at 12:30 p.m. Please consider joining us by His Spirit from wherever you are. A pray-er received the leading from Him that the Psalms are a bridge between Yehudah and Ephrayim. This is a place where we can meet, (the Psalms, Preparation Day), and pray in agreement. HalleluYah!
We, as His pray-ers with His powerful weapons of warfare… as His pray-ers who may draw near to His Throne by the blood of His Son… are responsible to do our part as we pray. Who else has these weapons? Who else has this access? No one! So the great responsibility and privilege of prayer comes to us. May we, each one, respond.
One other wonderful thing that happens as you commit to raise up the Shield of David, is that He opens the Word… He will open the Psalm to you and His Spirit will breathe upon the Word… shine upon the Word… and He will show you things in His Word that you have not seen before. It happens every week with us and it is a powerful delightful experience.
So press in, pray, and stand in the gap before the walls of His nation, Israel. In the age that is coming, He has shown us that even as veterans of wars past have this ribbon and that ribbon signifying the battles they were in… so it will also be with His people. There will be recognition of the battles we have fought in prayer… and none will be more recognizable than the battle for Yerushalayim… than the final battles of this age that will usher in the return of the King!
He is preparing a people… to prepare the way… for His return!
May He bless you as you pray,
By His Word, in His love, for His Name’s sake

“I have set watchmen on your walls, O Yerushalayim, all the day and all the night, continually, who are not silent. You who remember YHWH , give yourselves no rest, and give Him no rest till He establishes and till He makes Yerushalayim a praise in the earth.” Isaiah 62:6-7
