The Dog Whistle

THE DOG WHISTLE

He sent me into a pet store a few days ago to buy a dog whistle… two dog whistles actually… one for another pray-er and one for me.

While in prayer the next week He very unexpectedly brought forth this word.

He brought a warning saying there are those who are like dumb dogs who do not hear and do not bark at the approaching danger, for His hand is raised and who shall see it.  They also do not hear His word for standing and believing and nor do they hear the voice of the coming King, for their ears are not attuned to His very high pitched whistle as He calls for His own!

“And the dogs have a strong appetite, they never have enough. And they are shepherds! They have not known understanding.  All of them look to their own way, every one for his own gain, from his own end, saying,  ‘Come, let me bring wine and fill ourselves with strong drink.  And tomorrow shall be as today, even much greater.’”

Yeshayahu/Isaiah 56:11-12

Then He said, ‘But you who are My true watchmen are hearing My word… you are hearing My sound… you are hearing the whistle that only those whose ears are attuned to Me can hear!  Even as the dog whistle!’

“And He shall lift up a banner to the nations from afar, and shall whistle to them from the end of the earth. And see, they come with speed, swiftly!”

Yeshayahu/Isaiah 5:26

“And I shall make the house of Yehuḏah mighty, and save the house of Yosĕph. And I shall bring them back, because I have compassion on them. And they shall be as though I had not pushed them aside. For I am יהוהtheir Elohim, and I answer them.

And Ephrayim shall be as a mighty man, and their heart shall rejoice as if with wine. And their children shall see and rejoice, their heart exulting in יהוה.

I shall whistle for them and gather them, for I shall ransom them. And they shall increase as they once increased.”

Zekaryah/Zechariah 10:6-8

He is attuning our ears beloved and lest any of you think ‘dog… I don’t want to be compared to a dog!’

Dog in Hebrew is Kaleb.  And Kaleb or Kalev can also mean ‘whole hearted’.

For He is looking for the whole hearted ones who hear… He is looking for good spies… those who say, ‘They are grasshoppers!  We will possess the land He has given us!  If He is for us, who can be against us!’

For as the one stick went from the shoulder of Yehoshua to Kaleb as they carried the good produce of the land, including grapes, so now His scepter of rulership is extending from His shoulder to His ‘Kalebs’… His ‘whole hearted’ ones who have ears to hear.

They do not gather the grapes to make wine for self-gratification and become dumb dogs… no!

For they hear His voice and the voice of another they do not heed.

He is whistling and He is looking for ears that hear… those whose hearts and heads are turned to Him… who hear the HIGH pitched whistle of the MOST HIGH!

He is looking for the ones after His own heart… whole hearted ones… who love Him with all their hearts… with all their souls… and with all their strength.

Tonight I put my silver dog whistle on a beautiful purple ribbon…

For the King is whistling…

… He is whistling for His Kalebs…

… for those who have an ear to hear…

He is whistling for His whole hearted ones

Father, we pray in the Name of Your Son Yeshua, that You open our ears to hear what Your Spirit is speaking to us in this season!  We pray that you attune our ears to hear Your voice and the voice of another we will not heed.

May we be Your whole-hearted hearing ones… Amein

In His shalom,

Constance
