He Thunders from the Heavens

As you know, He has been showing us Tehillim/Psalm 18 for some time as the Sword of the Spirit that He wants us to be praying right now. It is the ‘sword in due season’ to pray over the battle in Yisrael.

In Psalm 18:9-18, it says this:

Psa 18:9 And He bowed the heavens and came down, And thick darkness was under His feet.

Psa 18:10 And He rode upon a keruḇ, and flew; He flew upon the wings of the wind.

Psa 18:11 He made darkness His covering; Around Him His booth, Darkness of waters, thick clouds of the skies.

Psa 18:12 From the brightness before Him, His thick clouds passed, hail and coals of fire.

Psa 18:13 And יהוה thundered in the heavens, And the Most High sent forth His voice, Hail and coals of fire.

Psa 18:14 And He sent out His arrows and scattered them, And much lightning, and confused them.

Psa 18:15 And the channels of waters were seen, And the foundations of the world were uncovered at Your rebuke, O יהוה, at the blast of the breath of Your nostrils.

Psa 18:16 He sent from above, He took me; He drew me out of many waters.

Psa 18:17 He delivered me from my strong enemy, And from those hating me, For they were stronger than I.

Psa 18:18 They confronted me in the day of my calamity, But יהוה was my support.

In the wee hours of this morning a storm blew in unlike anything I have ever experienced. There was lightning and loud thunder… rolling in wave after wave after wave. I looked up through the skylight and the sky was green… this was a powerful storm!

I have always loved thunder storms. Even as a little girl, I would run and get in my parents car outside so that I could be more in the storm and experience it.

His word says this about Thunder and Lightning:

Exo 19:16 And it came to be, on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud on the mountain. And the sound of the ram’s horn was very loud, and all the people who were in the camp trembled.

Zec 9:14 And יהוה shall appear for them, and His arrow go forth like lightning, and the Master יהוה sound the ram’s horn. And He shall go with whirlwinds from the south,

Luk 17:24 “For as the lightning that flashes out of one part under heaven shines to the other part under heaven, so also the Son of Aḏam shall be in His day.

Rev 4:5 And out of the throne came lightnings, and thunders, and voices. And seven lamps of fire were burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of Elohim.

Rev 8:5 And the messenger took the censer, and filled it with fire from the altar, and threw it to the earth. And there were noises, and thunders, and lightnings, and an earthquake.

Rev 10:3 and cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roars. And when he cried out, seven thunders spoke their sounds.

Rev 10:4 And when the seven thunders spoke their sounds, I was about to write, but I heard a voice from the heaven saying to me, “Seal up what theseven thunders spoke, and do not write them.”

Rev 11:19 And the Dwelling Place of Elohim was opened in the heaven, and the ark of His covenant was seen in His Dwelling Place. And there came to be lightnings, and voices, and thunders, and an earthquake, and great hail.

Rev 14:1 And I looked and saw a Lamb standing on Mount Tsiyon, and with Him one hundred and forty-four thousand, having His Father’s Name written upon their foreheads.

Rev 14:2 And I heard a voice out of the heaven, like the voice of many waters, and like the voice of loud thunder, and I heard the sound of harpists playing their harps.

Rev 16:17 And the seventh messenger poured out his bowl into the air, and a loud voice came out of the Dwelling Place of the heaven, from the throne, saying, “It is done!”

Rev 16:18 And there came to be noises and thunders and lightnings. And there came to be a great earthquake, such a mighty and great earthquake as had not came to be since men were on the earth.

And there are more places in Scripture referring to the thunder and lightning. But we can see that this ‘natural phenomenon’ is supernatural. And He often manifests in the midst of what is coming from above into the earth.

As a child, I did not understand that He was drawing me to the thunder and lightning because supernatural thunder and lightning pulsates from His very throne.

There have been a number of times that He has awakened me in the midst of rain and His presence manifests and He begins to speak. He comes!

The day before this huge storm came in, I had a time of petitioning before His Throne in and through His Son. Nowpetition is different from what we think of as intercession or declaration. There are times that we come before Him andpetition… laying out our case so to speak.

Moshe experienced bringing a number of petitions before Him, laying out his case as He would speak to Moshe ‘face to face’ as a friend. Because of our being in His Son, we can also make our petitions before Him… and He listens to us. He often times wants us to do this very thing. To come to Him and reason with Him… make our petition… our supplication… He wants to hear us for He is our greatest Friend.

Such was what I did the day before the storm.

THE PETITION

If you are like most of His people, then there are children or loved ones that you are standing for and believing for, before Him. In His remnant, it seems that the enemy tries particularly hard to destroy our loved ones.

If you will also recall, He had me send out that report of His promises called ‘Have a rainbow in your mouth’. In that report, I sent the following:

This is the word He has shown me for months now, and this is the word I am standing on… receive it for your own children as well. He will pour out His Spirit upon them and He will pour out His blessing upon them… It is written! Has He not said it… will He not do it?:

Isa 44:1 “But now hear, O Yaʽaqoḇ My servant, and Yisra’ĕl whom I have chosen. (You have chosen us! Let us hear Your promises!)

Isa 44:2 Thus said יהוה who made you and formed you from the womb, who helps you, ‘Do not fear, O Yaʽaqoḇ (put your name… ‘I will not fear… I am Your servant’!) My servant, and Yeshurun1, (For You are making me, my spouse and all my offspring ‘STRAIGHT’ and ‘UPRIGHT’!) whom I have chosen. Footnote: 1A poetical title for Yisra’ĕl, meaning the Straight One or the Upright One.

Isa 44:3 ‘For I pour water on the thirsty, and floods on the dry ground. I pour My Spirit on your seed (put the name of your children), and My blessing on your offspring (again, put the name of your children),

Isa 44:4 and they shall spring up among the grass like willows by streams of water.’ (They think they are ‘grass’ like the rest of the world, but He will do this marvelous work, and suddenly they will be changed and say, ‘Hey, I’m a WILLOW! Not grass! I am the ‘seed of the righteous’!)

Isa 44:5 “One says, ‘I belong to יהוה; another calls himself by the name of Yaʽaqoḇ; another writes with his hand, ‘Unto יהוה,’ and names himself by the name of Yisra’ĕl. (They are our seed and our offspring and His promises are sure! They are HIS! This will be their IDENTITY!)

Isa 44:6 “Thus said יהוה, Sovereign of Yisra’ĕl, and his Redeemer, יהוה of hosts, ‘I am the First and I am the Last, besides Me there is no Elohim. (And He has the LAST WORD!)

Isa 44:7 ‘And who is like Me? Let him call and declare it, and lay it before Me, since I appointed the everlasting people. (We are part of the EVERLASTING PEOPLE… the ‘Am Olam’… and His promise is ‘YES’ AND ‘AMEIN’ TO OUR SEED AND OUR OFFSPRING!)And the events that are coming and those that do come, let them declare these to them.

Isa 44:8 ‘Do not fear, nor be afraid (Put your name). Have I not since made you hear, and declared it? (Thank You for making us hear… Your declaration and Your PROMISES! We will not fear, but will align ourselves with You and also declare Your promises.) You are My witnesses. (We are witnesses to Your promises working out in our lives and in the lives of our children) Is there an Eloah besides Me? There is no other Rock, I know not one.’ (There is NONE like You and there is NONE beside You!)”

Make this word personal for you and your children. Put their names in where it says ‘seed’ or ‘offspring’. (end quote)

Well, as I am sure you have all experienced, things happen to try to come against your belief and faith for this miracle. Such was why my petition came before Him that day.

I asked Him to please come and show me that He will move on this word… for my heart was in trial before Him particularly for one grown child.

After laying out the case before Him and Him listening to my petition, I asked Him to please give me a sign… show me that I am to keep standing… for I needed encouragement!

HIS ANSWER

In the wee hours, a loud clap of THUNDER erupted over my head! I looked at the clock and there in big red numbers was ‘4:40’… and He prompted Yeshayahu 44!

“For I pour water on the thirsty, and floods on the dry ground. I pour My Spirit on your seed, and My blessing on your offspring.”

Yeshayahu/Isaiah 44:3

Then ‘4:50’ and He prompted Yeshayahu 45!

“Rain down, O heavens, from above, and let clouds pour down righteousness. Let the earth open, let them bring forth deliverance (salvation), and let righteousness spring up together. I, YHWH, have created it.”

Yeshayahu/Isaiah 45:8

I got up and wave after wave of thunder and lightning and heavy, heavy rain was bringing the sound

like many waters…

and lightning and thunders…

reverberating and reverberating off the walls!

Lighting up… lighting up the darkness!

I loved it! I sat at the table under my tallit (my little cotton blanket with the Magen David, Star of David) and read and read His word and my heart was rejoicing. He was speaking!

“Yisrael shall be saved by YHWH with an everlasting deliverance.

You are not to be ashamed nor hurt, forever and ever…

For thus said YHWH,

Creator of the heavens,

He is Elohim,

Former of earth and its Maker,

He established it, He did not create it to be empty,

He formed it to be inhabited.

‘I Am YHWH, and there is none else.’”

Yeshayahu/Isaiah 45:17-18!

And more and more came and even a word for The Tsadoq Call…

Out of the lightning and thunder He spoke!

He has said it and He will do it!

He is the Former and Savior of all Yisrael and all Yisrael will be saved.

And that includes our seed and our offspring… believe it!

He thundered from the heavens to tell us!

He heard my petition and He came in the midst of rain… rain… rain!

We had TWELVE INCHES in 3 hours!

I said we had TWELVE INCHES in 3 hours!

For He is coming to rain upon all TWELVE!

And on the 3rd day He comes down… in the midst of thunder and lightning!

Exo 19:10 And יהוה said to Mosheh, ‘Go to the people and set them apart today and tomorrow. And they shall wash their garments,

Exo 19:11 and shall be prepared by the third day. For on the third day יהוה shall come down upon Mount Sinai before the eyes of all the people.’

Zec 9:14 And יהוה shall appear for them, and His arrow go forth like lightning, and the Master יהוה sound the ram’s horn. And He shall go with whirlwinds from the south,

Luk 17:24 “For as the lightning that flashes out of one part under heaven shines to the other part under heaven, so also the Son of Aḏam shall be in His day.”

And this mighty storm centered right in the area where we live… next to Gruene, Texas… pronounced ‘Green’… even as He is the Root of the Green Olive Tree of His people.

He is restoring…

and He will redeem…

and He will reunite…

and He will revive…

and He will resurrect!
