One Stick Ministries PROPHECY WATCH 1/24/07   “…And now I return to fight with the head of Persia.  And when I have left, see, the head of Greece shall come.”  Daniel 10:20   I was just speaking with a brother the other night on the telephone and told him that this Scripture above has been ‘before me’ for years, by His Spirit.   THE PRINCE OF PERSIA   The ‘head’ or ‘prince of Persia’ is the dark entity that rules over Iraq, Iran and that entire area… the ruling power over Islam, if you will.   As we see in His word of Daniel 10, the ‘prince of Persia’ is a dark force that is quite powerful in the spiritual realm.  However, the arch angel Michael (‘Who is like El’!) is able to overcome the prince of Persia.  There is one stipulation however that needs to be seen.  Michael is assigned to one people:   “Now at that time Mikael shall stand up, the great head who is standing over the sons of your people.  And there shall be a time of distress, such as never was since there was a nation, until that time.  And at that time your people shall be delivered, every one who is found written in the book…”  Daniel 12:1   That people is Yisrael.  This is why when America comes against Eretz Yisrael, the land of Yisrael, to divide her and scatter her people, then the battle in Iraq goes awry.  Why?  Because they are fighting in the region of the ‘prince of Persia’ and without Michael, they are losing the battle in the natural, because it is being lost in the spirit.  Michael will not be called to aid those who are coming against the land of Yisrael.    Please know that prayers for our American soldiers in Iraq must be accompanied by prayers for America to relent from the Saudi/American Road Map.  Even if your prayers do not change the American position, your prayers will be much more effectual because they are housed in righteousness, ie in ‘right standing’ before Him, as we respect His good order and word.   THE PRINCE OF GREECE   But note something important.  There is order in the battle ensuing in the heavenlies.  Daniel 10 is a ‘sneak peek’ if you will into the heavenly battles that rage constantly around us.  We see that after Persia, comes Greece.  This is a ‘clue’ if you will, or better yet, ‘insight’ into what is coming next.   As I spoke with our brother on the phone, we were in agreement that what is coming is worse than what we see before us.  I know this seems almost impossible.  How could anything be worse than Islamism that seeks to behead the West.  However, the ‘prince of Greece’ will have much more widespread territory and power and influence.   Have you noticed this phrase:  Greco-Roman?    The reason it is termed this way is because Greece fused with Rome, such that what Greece embraced in philosophy, theology, and art was not only embraced by Rome with slight alterations, but it was improved upon.  In other words, Greece was the foundation for the walls of Rome.  Or from the perspective of Daniel 2, Rome’s legs grew out of Greece.   This rising and fusing of Greece and Rome is coming again, like a mock ‘revival’.  I know there are differences of opinions on this.  There are those who see Islam as the final ‘beast’.  I do not.  Time will show which is accurate.   I believe ‘The prince of Greece’ is coming… rising… and out of that quickly will arise worldwide ‘Roman’ domination… murderous Rome.    THE ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION   “And strong ones shall arise from him and profane the set-apart place, the stronghold, and shall take away that which is continual, and set up the abomination that lays waste.  And by flatteries he shall profane those who do wrong against the covenant, but the people who know their Elohim shall be strong, and shall act.”  Daniel 11:31-32   This prophecy in Daniel was partially fulfilled the first time through Antiochus Ephiphanes.  Antiochus, an offshoot of the Greek Alexander, came into Yerushalayim and flattered.  Through this, he raised up a defiled priesthood and came against the covenant.   “…and his heart be against the set-apart covenant…”  Daniel 11:28   Because his heart was filled with vain pride and rebellion, (the name he gave himself, ‘Epiphanes’ was ‘god manifest’!), he came against the set-apart covenant, and that meant he came against Yisrael.   The ‘prince of Greece’ has worldly prowess and power.  The ‘prince of Greece’ can ‘flatter’.  (When was the last time you saw Islam practicing the art of flattery in the power of deception?  Never… their attack is always frontal.  They say clearly they want to annihilate Israel… no flattery involved.)   Antiochus was a type of the coming antimessiah and beast system, Greco-Rome, aided and abetted by a corrupt priesthood, also a type of the coming corrupt ‘priesthood/religious system’ which will culminate with the ‘false prophet’.    Antiochus was not content with killing Am Yisrael, the people of Yisrael, nor burning the Torah scrolls to try to erase the Word of YHWH… he wanted to defile.  To come into the very set-apart place and raise up an IMAGE.    And so he did just that.  He came into the set-apart place of His House and slaughtered a sow and sprayed its blood.  He further erected an image of ZEUS.    Daniel 7   THE IMAGE   ”And I stood on the sand of the sea.  And I saw a beast coming up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns, and on his heads names of blasphemy.  And the beast I saw was like a leopard, and his feet were like the feet of a bear, and his mouth of a lion.  And the dragon gave him his power, and his throne, and great authority…   …And I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon…   …And he does great signs, so that he even makes fire come down from the heaven on the earth before men.  And he leads astray those dwelling on the earth because of those signs which he was given to do before the beast, saying to those dwelling on the earth to make an image of the beast who was wounded by the sword, yet lived…   …And there was given to him to give spirit to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause to be killed as many as would not worship the image of the beast…   …And he causes all, both small and great, and rich and poor, and free and slave, to be given a mark upon their right hand or upon their foreheads, and that no one should be able to buy or sell except he that has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name…   …Here is the wisdom!  He who has understanding, let him calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man, and his number is 666.”  Revelation 13   When Revelations refers to the ‘leopard, bear, and lion’, we should immediately be sent to which prophet?  Daniel… for these are three of the beasts he saw in Daniel 7, and the fourth non-descript beast was the culmination of all, empowered by the dragon.   We cannot understand what is coming without studying the TaNaK, what we erroneously call ‘the Old Testament’.    When Yahshua was standing on the Mountain and unveiled Himself, there were TWO standing there with Him: Moshe and Eliyahu.  These two represent, among other things, the Torah and the Prophets.  Light of HIM comes through study of His whole word.  Without this we are going to find ourselves ‘driving at night without headlights’.   But note how many times the word ‘image’ is used in the above passage from Revelation.  Note that the world will bow to the image.  This again should catapult you to who?  Daniel…    Daniel 2   DANIEL 3   “Nebukadnetstsar the sovereign made an image of gold, whose height was sixty cubits and its width six cubits…   …Then the viceroys, the nobles, and the governors, the counselors, the treasurers, the judges, the magistrates, and all the officials of the provinces, to come to the dedication of the image which Sovereign Nebukadnetstsar had set up.  And they stood before the image that Nebukadnetstsar had set up…   …Then a herald loudly proclaimed, ‘To you it is commanded, O peoples, nations, and languages, that as soon as you hear the sound of the horn, the flute, the zither, the lyre, the harp, the pipes, and all kinds of instruments, you shall fall down and do obeisance to the gold image that Nebukadnetstsar has set up.”   Several things should be noted here.  The size of the image was 60 X 6… the first two 6’s.  This is a precursor to the image that is coming and will complete what was started here, resulting in the ‘666’ image… ‘the golden boy’, the antimessiah.    Secondly, note that this is a picture of a ruling monarch where ‘peoples, nations, and languages’ are commanded to do obeisance.  This is a picture of the coming global rule and the time when men ‘great and small’ will bow down to this image.    The image is central to the end time scenario.  The image of Zeus.      E.U. at Capitoline Hill, Rome   ZEUS SEIN   If you have been on this elist for any length of time, then you have heard of ‘Zeus Sein’.  I will repeat this for those of you who have not.   Following is an excerpt from a report from us called ‘Warning…’ on 4/27/05:   Several weeks BEFORE Pope John Paul died, on March 15, He sent me a very vivid dream.  In the dream there were Italian men, who looked like mafia but were dressed somewhat like Bishops in black and a bit of white, who came into our home with complete authority.  They just walked right in and took over.  They were Vatican people and I knew that they had complete authority to kill anyone they wished… the word ‘eliminators’ was clear.  It was around the Christmas season and I had HANUKKAH COOKIES on a platter and as they came in, I rushed to HIDE THE COOKIES.  As I was hiding them, I looked down on the floor where the head man had placed a piece of equipment, a fax machine.  On the box lay a piece of paper that said:  “I am looking forward to taking my city.  ZEUS SEIN”   The name written was very clear and the fax was sent from these men’s leader.  I knew I wasn’t supposed to see this note, as it was partially covered by a cloth, but He revealed it to me.  Then I awoke.   I knew the city that this leader called ‘MY CITY’ was referring to was JERUSALEM.  He had me look up a number of scriptures concerning Jerusalem before I went to sleep that night… one being Zechariah 1 (above) and Zechariah 2.  After the dream, I looked up the word SEIN and even wrote to a sister in Switzerland for the interpretation, because the word is GERMAN.  She wrote back that SEIN means ‘is’ or ‘his,her’.  The ZEUS part I already understood.  Antiochus Epiphanes in 167 BC was a TYPE of the antimessiah, Seleucid, as he took over Jerusalem and defiled the temple by erecting a STATUE OF ZEUS and slaughtering a sow on the altar.  This dream referred to either the antimessiah himself or one who was going to be a type.  (Or the False Prophet)  The clear impact was that he would be associated with the VATICAN and would be GERMAN!   I told the pray-ers about this dream and we began to PRAY.  One intercessor said, ‘Fax, yes?  FACSIMILIE!  This is a FALSE ONE!’  Then we kept praying and another intercessor began to say, ‘Do you know what the COOKIES are?  Do you know what the COOKIES are?’  I began to KNOW what the cookies represent even as she began to cry and say, ‘They are the JEWISH PEOPLE!  This is why you must HIDE THE COOKIES!’  We began to pray and some were weeping as He brought forth this revelation to us!  It was SOBERING.   Now that brings us to current events, yes?  I was stunned when the news of the new pontiff was announced and that he was German, a previous member of the Hitler youth and conscripted into service of the German army.  I understand he was forced into these things, but OUR FATHER IS TRYING TO GET OUR ATTENTION regarding this!  This is why He sent this vivid, PROPHETIC dream weeks BEFORE JOHN PAUL DIED concerning the Vatican and a German leader!  (CLOSE QUOTE)   ‘Sein’ can also mean ‘to be’… so it is pointing to the ‘Zeus’ that ‘will be’.  But note that name ZEUS!  He was pointing powerfully through this false deity name, that the ‘prince of Greece’ was rising, and Greece would be reviving, for it is Greece who worshipped Zeus.  And there would be a coming religious leader who we were to ‘watch’ by His Spirit.   This re-emerging of Greece and Rome and the coming worship of Zeus, has a two-fold effect of pointing to the ‘abomination of desolation’ referred to in Daniel 11 above, and to the false beast/prophet, who will erect that image.   THE RESISTANCE   But who did not bow down should be our focus, for this is the group we want to be in.   “There are certain Yehudim whom you have set over the work of the province of Babel:  Shadrak, Meyshak, and Abed-Nego.  These men, O sovereign, pay no heed to you.  They do not serve your elahin, and they are not doing obeisance to the gold image which you have set up.”  Daniel 3:12   The true names of these Yehudim were Hananyah ‘Yah is gracious’, Mishael ‘Who is like El’, and Azaryah ‘Yah is my Helper’.  They lived out their names by embracing the keeping grace of YHWH, seeking none other but Him, and relying upon His help.    Hear some of my favorite words penned in His Scripture… this is the response of these young men when faced with bowing or death:   “Shadrak, Meyshak, and Abed-Nego answered and said to the sovereign, ‘O Nebukadnetstsar, we have no need to answer you in this matter.  For if so, our Elah whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning furnace of fire and from your hand, O sovereign – He does deliver!  But if not, let it be known to you, O sovereign, that we do not serve your elahin, nor do we do obeisance to the gold image which you have set up.”  Daniel 3:17-18!   What courage!  Where did it come from?  From a life of obedience to Him and His word.   GREECE IS RISING   Here are some articles sent to me Watched by curious onlookers, some 20 worshippers gathered next to the ruins of the temple for a celebration organized by Ellinais, a year-old Athens-based group that is campaigning to revive old religious practices from the era when Greece was a fount of education and philosophy. The group ignored a ban by the Culture Ministry, which declared the site off limits to any kind of organized activity to protect the monument. But participants did not try to enter the temple itself, which is closed to everyone, and no officials sought to stop the ceremony. Dressed in ancient costumes, worshippers standing near the temple's imposing Corinthian columns recited hymns calling on the Olympian Zeus, "King of the gods and the mover of things," to bring peace to the world. "Our message is world peace and an ecological way of life in which everyone has the right to education," said Kostas Stathopoulos, one of three "high priests" overseeing the event, which celebrated the nuptials of Zeus and Hera, the goddess of love and marriage. To the Greeks, ecological awareness was fundamental, Stathopoulos said after a priestess, with arms raised to the sky, called on Zeus "to bring rain to the planet." A herald holding a metal staff topped with two snake heads proclaimed the beginning of the ceremony before priests in blue and red robes released two white doves as symbols of peace. A priest poured libations of wine and incense burned on a tiny copper tripod while a choir of men and women chanted hymns. "Our hymns stress the brotherhood of man and do not single out nations," said priest Giorgos Alexelis. For the organizers, who follow a calendar marking time from the first Olympiad in 776 B.C., the ceremony was far more than a simple recreation. "We are Greeks and we demand from the government the right to use our temples," said high priestess Doreta Peppa. Ellinais was founded last year and has 34 official members, mainly academics, lawyers and other professionals. It won a court battle for state recognition of the ancient Greek religion and is demanding the government register its offices as a place of worship, a move that could allow the group to perform weddings and other rites. Christianity rose to prominence in Greece in the 4th century after Roman Emperor Constantine's conversion. Emperor Theodosius wiped out the last vestige of the Olympian gods when he abolished the Olympic Games in A.D. 394. Several isolated pockets of pagan worship lingered as late as the 9th century. "The Christians shut down our schools and destroyed our temples," said Yiannis Panagidis, a 36-year-old accountant at the ceremony. Most Greeks are baptized Orthodox Christians, and the church rejects ancient religious practices as pagan. Church officials have refused to attend flame ceremony re-enactments at Olympia before the Olympic Games because Apollo, the ancient god of light, is invoked. Unlike the monotheistic religions of Christianity, Judaism and Islam, the old religion lacked written ethical guidelines, but its gods were said to strike down mortals who displayed excessive pride or "hubris" — a recurring theme in the tragedies of Euripides and other ancient writers. "We do not believe in dogmas and decrees, as the other religions do. We believe in freedom of thought," Stathopoulos said.  (END QUOTES) Note that the rising Greco-Roman spirit embraces athletic sports and fuses it with idolatry.  This is exactly what Antiochus Epiphanes introduced into Israel… the Olympic games… and by flattery, a number of Jews betrayed the covenant and even sought to reverse their circumcisions, so they could participate in these nude games. “…But those who know their Elohim will RESIST him and DO EXPLOITS.”  Daniel 11:32 Do we not see this Greek influence today, as the top rated American television program is ‘American Idol’ and throngs vie for their favorite athlete’s signature while buying untold millions of dollars worth of jerseys, caps, and pictures. Rome took this ideal of Greece to a new level with their Roman Coliseum… which is reflected in the sports arenas of today.  Who will bow down?  Those who already are. Note all the mimicry of this ‘false foundation and house’ that is being built, including the ‘olive branch’, in the picture above at the ceremony of worshipping Zeus.  And the celebration of the nuptials of Zeus and Hera, even as He is preparing for the true Marriage. PERGAMUM’S ALTAR “And to the messenger of the assembly in Pergamos write, ‘He who has the sharp two-edged sword, says this: ‘I know your works, and where you dwell, where the throne of Satan is…”  Revelation 2:12-13 Note that Yahshua Himself says that His ‘sharp two-edged sword’ is positioned against the ‘throne of Satan’.  In other words, HIS WORD is what will divide and separate those who ‘bow down’ to the false and those who do not, but ‘bow down to Him alone’… NO IMAGE!  That ‘throne of Satan’ was a place of worship in Pergamum that was involved in Zeus and Greek deity worship, and here is a picture of that altar in a museum in Berlin:  Pergamum altar in the Pergamum Museum in Berlin, Germany Germany has just taken the headship of the E.U.  By the way, here is the poster for the European Union, next to the famous painting of the Tower of Babel, as they arrogantly proclaim the words: ‘Many voices, one tongue’, for they are saying they will build the ‘tower’ of ‘one world governance’ in defiance of Him!:  WHO WILL NOT BOW DOWN Once again, we must ask, who will not bow down to the image? Those who believe in Yahshua and who obey His commandments.  That is a big ‘AND’ in the middle.  Do not take my word for it, but hear the words of our Messiah as He revealed this to Yohanan on the Island of Patmos: “And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to fight with the remnant of her seed, those guarding the commands of Elohim and possessing the witness of Yahshua Messiah.”  Revelation 12:17 “…And they have no rest day or night, those worshipping the beast and his image, also if anyone received the mark of his name.  Here is the endurance of the set-apart ones, here are those guard the commands of Elohim and the belief of Yahshua.” Revelation 14:11-12 “And I saw like a sea of glass mixed with fire, and those overcoming the beast and his image and his mark and the number of his name, standing on the sea of glass, holding harps of Elohim.  And they sing the song of Mosheh the servant of Elohim, and the song of the Lamb, saying, ‘Great are Your works, YHWH El Shaddai!  Righteous and true are Your ways, O Sovereign of the set-apart ones!” Revelation 15:2-4 “Blessed are those doing His commands, so that the authority shall be theirs unto the tree of life, and to enter through the gates into the city.  But outside are the dogs and those who enchant with drugs, and those who whore, and the murderers, and the idolaters, and all who love and do falsehood.” Revelation 22:14-15 It is clear from His word that those who both keep His commands and hold on to the belief in Yahshua shall endure, and shall be with Him in His Bridal City. A time is coming for the Yehudim to embrace Messiah and it is time for believers to embrace His commandments… He will bring His end-time remnant together as one.  WHAT IS THE SECOND COMMANDMENT? “You do not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of that which is in the heavens above, or which is in the earth beneath, or which is in the waters under the earth, you do not bow down to them nor serve them.  For I am a jealous El, visiting the crookedness of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, but showing kindness to those who love Me and guard My commands.” Exodus 20:4-6 If we love Him, we will obey His commands. And in so doing, we will not bow down… But instead of resisting the enemy, if we resist His instruction, His Torah, now in this rising time of Greece and Rome… if we continue to listen to false prophecies that laud and magnify other things and not Him and His set-apart word… then we are subject to bowing in a time when the pressure will be great… such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be.
